When Satan reminds us of our past, we should remind him of his future. Amen!

THANKFULNESS

It isn't what you have in your pocket
that makes you thankful,
but what you have in your heart.

Knitty Freak !!

I have been busy lurking at knit picks this morning and have made myself a wish list. I wish I could buy all the fun yarn and needles I want when ever I want, Sounds selfish I know, But a girl can dream.. I am finding that yarn is rather addictive and I have a bad case of the I wanna buy lots of yarn freak going on. I have so many things I want to make and so many people I want to make things for. I want so badly to share this new craft I have discovered thanks to my pal Bethany. I miss your guts girl, I need knitty help. But I have found lots of resources on the webby and have been chatting with a new pal who is in the same boat I am in. I made the suggestion that after Christmas we have a sock knit along as we both have bought the same book. I hope she says yes and we can be of help to each other.. In other news.. The kids and I are going to preform in the bell choir this year at the candlelight service Christmas Eve. We are learning how to play Christmas songs with bells. We are looking forward to it. I am sure it will be a fun experience. The kids have so many things coming up with all that goes along with the holidays and such I might have some time between blogs but do not fret I will be back soon... Hugs to all!!
Until next time!

New Table!!

Today our friends gave us a dining table big enough for all 5 of us, Its been well loved and used over the years.. I cleaned it up, shined the wood, and it looks wonderful in my kitchen. We have talked about getting a table that would fit all of us for some time now. It is a blessing for our family. I cannot wait to sit down as a family for Thanksgiving dinner. We would have been waiting for much longer for one. I love old stuff! However this came at a cost we could afford, It was given to us. This is a wonderful older table made of what looks like maple wood. It has 6 chairs that I got all the old spilled paint off of today and put in their prospective spots. I am planning on making a couple table cloths for it. I might even make some chair pads as well. I am going to write them a Thank You letter and let them know how much we appreciate their kindness. Tomorrow is Sunday and I have a super busy day! I have Sunday School and Worship in the morning, Then I am off to practice music for the Christmas cantata in the afternoon. I have Youth group in the evening and then I will get to come home and be with my Hubby! We are still waiting to hear about the golf course issues and look forward to putting this all behind us. I best be off I have a few things to finish up then I am going to set my clocks back!!
Until Next Time..

PS Knitting Update ! I am finished with one of my knitted bags and have 3 more to make! Hooray I am making progress!
